San Luis Holidays

A traditional town with bags of style, San Luis is a get-away-from-it-all holiday hotspot with a social side to keep things interesting.

Little has changed in this Menorcan town since it was founded by the French in 1756. White-washed houses with red tiled roofs still lined the streets like neat rows of sugar cubes. The mills Moli de Dalt, Moli del Mig and Moli de Baix still stand. And it's still decidedly rural. But the path trodden by tourism hasn't completely passed San Luis by. Whether you're after cosy bars for after dinner drinks or an ice-cream parlour for post pizza sorbet, this traditional town has got something for everyone. Wander the narrow shop lined streets before vanishing for an afternoon of window gazing and cafe grazing. Or simply laze by the pool at your hotel. However you choose to spend your time, you're guaranteed a seriously easy-going getaway. The nightlife here is less about big beats and neon treats and more about moonlit strolls, quiet cocktails and delicious dinners. But if you are looking for something a bit more upbeat, there are a few bars where top tunes are the order of the day. For some traditional fun with a modern twist, San Luis is just what the holiday doctor ordered.
